Pallin’ around with terrorists
So I got a last-minute request to go to Dartmouth for a projection call. I arrived to find I was showing a slide for a live-streamed debate between Dinesh D’Souza and Bill Ayers. “The Ultimate Fight Between Left and Right!!!” (Interestingly, all the google search results for this return almost a full page of links to reactionary far-right extremist websites: The Blaze, WND, Town Hall, American Thinker, etc.)
Unfortunately I didn’t get to actually hear the debate because I had to use the new Barco film=projector-replacement which is really, really loud. But I get to meet Bill Ayers and have him sign a book for Stephanie. When he came out to sign books, he sat down and said, loudly, “That guy sure does make things up!”
So, it was fun, and I wish I could have heard it. Before the Barco, I could open the projection window and hear the stage, but with the noise of the Barco, the audience can hear it, so the window must remain closed. I had wanted to use their Christie, but it was not available…
