Yesterday I drove to Burlington and took care of an AV transfer for a client.  Then I took the miniDV I recorded there and played that into a DVD recorder.  It all worked perfectly.

Meanwhile I was testing Premiere and Encore.  Diana would like to see a window dub of the First Night concerts.  It turns out that Premiere has a groovy Effect that does exactly that.  After I figured that out, then I played around with Encore until I got it to have both sets of the concert on one DVD.  Lastly I put a chapter marker at every song.  And then had it export a DVD folder.

Once I got my computer crunching on the DVD, I went up to the TV station.

Huge, stupendous news!  We ratified and signed the new contract with Comcast!  It has been three(?) years in the making?  And we got our spike funding request for the new broadcast computer.

Today it is snowing, finally.
