The poor Volvo
Today just didn’t go the way we had planned.
Audrey is home sick, Errol hasn’t been sleeping well.
Today was dance day. I took Olivia and Clara down there, then Errol and I ran some errands. We went to the mailbox and then the Coop to get peanut butter, or “Pee-te-ta” in Errol-speak.
We went back up to the dance place and Errol went to play with the trains. I went to round up the girls and I heard Errol start crying. I picked him up, having no idea what happened and in a few seconds I took him away from my shoulder and he was covered in blood! He had a bloody nose. And I just got a new oil filter and this very day, a set of rear brake pads. I need to get two new tires, one snow and one summer. But the 850 has an oil leak, rust issues and 256000 miles, and I feel I got my $500 worth out of this car in the last year. So maybe it’s not worth putting any money into it. There was a 1998 VX70 (all-wheel drive) for $1200…
