Yesterday, I downgraded to 10.4, then back to 10.6.3, and it did start, I updated software back to 10.6.8 and after the last update it wouldn’t start. Bummer.

This morning I booted into ‘Safe Boot’ mode and it did start, just like three days ago.  I got nowhere, it seemed.

Tonight after I got back from Town Meeting I rebooted it again and it STARTED!  Stephanie asked what I did to get it to work, and … I didn’t really do anything.  I haven’t restarted it since then, so I don’t really know, but it’s running now.  I wonder if it’s just Mercury’s retrograde…
