I nice quiet day around the house.  We cleaned up after the party and did some chores.

The girls alternated between working and watching TV when something good was on.  Since we only get a dozen channels Phineas and Ferb are about the only thing on.

In the afternoon Steph went to the office and the children stayed home.

I made my spaghetti sauce in the evening. Audrey wants to make a cookbook and so she wrote down the recipe as I made the sauce.  I made a double batch, so I cut the numbers in half, kinda, as if I were making a single batch.

This made me realize that I am not really doubling the batch when I cook.  If I put thee cans into 1.3 lbs of meat, then when I use the 3lbs package I really need to be using 8 cans.

But it was very nice to write down the recipe.  Onion and Garlic, Oregano, Basil, Sage, Tarragon, Cayenne, and a whisper of Cumin.  Brown the meat, and finish it off with some soy sauce and red wine.
