Dartmouth in the Snow
Yesterday was quite a day. I had a 14 hour day at Dartmouth. When I went to bed the snow had just started to stick. It was supposed to snow all night and all day. I got up at 5 AM (after 4 hours of sleep) to give myself plenty of time to drive.
Steph and I set out to see if I could not spend a dime on food. I left home with a tub of spaghetti, the last fried chicken tender (homemade), the last Tilapia fish tender, plus some turkey slices, two slices of bread, a couple of apples and a roll of crackers. I made an egg sandwich and a thermos of coffee, too.
I left at 6:50 and slogged out to the car through 6 inches of snow. If I could just get out of the driveway…
Well, I had no problems at all. Went about 50 all the way down, and clocked in at 8:54! Right on time!!!
