I haven’t been writing this week. I’ve been both demoralized and busy.

The girls went back to school Tuesday and starting that night I’ve worked at HCTV every night. There were basketball game Tues, Wed, and Friday, with a 4+ hour long Select Board on Thursday! So I worked from 5 PM to midnight at minimum. The crazy-long select board is about budgeting, so I didn’t get done until 1 AM and I was there until 1:30 on Friday catching up on everything.

In years past I used to go home when the game was over, but that led to a backlog of getting the games edited and DVDs made. So this year I am staying and editing them and setting up the DVD export before I go.

But Errol wakes up at 8 AM, so I’ve been sleeping in after that. We had thought we’d all go to the office and work on MemoirSite together, but Steph has been going in without me. I get there at 1 and she leaves at 2:30 to be home for the kids after school. I’ve worked on the Re•Bops footage and then going to HCTV.

But Thursday and Friday I’ve not gotten to sleep in, so I’ve had only four hours those nights. I was so tired yesterday and today.

Today was Saturday, Steph took the girls to their WGDR-FM radio show and Errol woke me up shortly after they left, so we puttered about the house, with me wishing I could sleep more.

When they got back Olivia went to play with friends in Cabot and Steph and I took Audrey and Errol with us to the office. Jerome and Steph and I finally got to work together on MemoirSite. We have a lot to do together about the interface and backend: how the users are going to interact with the site. There is a lot to do!

We all went to bed by 9 PM, even me! But I woke up at 1 AM with dry, dry lips. And I can’t find any lip goo. Now it’s 1:50 AM and I am getting sleepy enough to go back to bed. But I still have dry lips…
