School is a half day and Audrey has an orthodontist appointment. I dropped Olivia at school and took Audrey and Errol down to Barre. Audrey’s appointment was just a brief check, we’ll go back in the summer.

Next we went to the Chopper of Prices, Romaney’s Staples, and Petcolnad. I priced some folding folding tables and bought some business card blanks and a purple sharpie. At Petco, we got cat food, cat litter and flea medicine. The flea stuff
is interesting: cat packaging has 6 .8ml vials for $77, or $16 per dose (1 per month). The same medicine in the Big Dog size is 6 4ml vials for $80, 3.33/ dose! Yeah…

While we were there a woman came in with a bird on her shoulder. Audrey was all excited and then unheard it squawk. I would recognize that sound anywhere. It was a Nanday Conure! I talked to the person and her bird really liked me and climbed right up on me to hang out on my shoulder. Audrey tried to pick it up and it nipped her finger. Even it’s owner had a bit of a trick getting it back.

We went to the CoOp and saw a train go by. Errol was excited and frightened attue same time. It was just an locomotive and two cars but they waved and blew the horn for Errol.

We went to the mailbox and then off to pay the business’ taxes. While there I inquired about our VT refund. Apparently it was ‘held for review’ because it was over a certain size, but no one was reveiwing it. So the person just did it on the spot.

Then we went to the toy store. Errol went right
to the train table and didn’t want to leave. I had to entice him by flashing his present to him…

After that I had to go and do a Select Board meeting in the evening.

What a long day!
