Our girls have strep
If it’s not one thing, it’s another! Last night Errol kept talking in his sleep, yelling at dreams of Audrey and Olivia, waking up every half an hour wanting to drink or nurse. This is the third night of that and boy are we wiped out.
Audrey said her throat was sore yesterday morning, and I sent her to school anyway. At noon the nurse called and said Audrey had a temperature of 102˚ and that Strep has been sighted in the area. She goes between being fine and being wiped out. This morning we knew she’d be staying home, and sure enough her temp was 102.8˚. I took her down to Montpelier to the doctor but the insta-swab was inconclusive. He sent a culture up to CVMC for further testing.
I took her and Errol to Coffee Corner for lunch and Errol refused to eat anything but french fries. On the way home Errol said ‘Pizza’! and ‘Lollipop’! and I told him that since he did not eat the food I wanted him to that he could not have anything else. Ask him who he is and he says; ‘I’m a Dude!’
This afternoon I went to the office and worked on the last wedding video, and then went to the tv station and worked there for another 5 hours. Holy crap, there’s so much work to do.
I really want to live here in Hardwick. At least closer to Hardwick than Cabot! I went out and walked around town and really enjoyed it. I don’t want to be in Cabot anymore.
