Another busy day
Yep, another busy day. Stephanie went to the office to work on a graphic with Jerome and was gone all day. I had arranged for the girls to rehearse more Re•Bop songs with Diana and Jessamin. The girls are going to be on stage this Saturday at Montpelier First Night.
I dropped them off, boy are the dirt roads icy, and went back home with Errol. I felt like I was there for inly five minutes when it was time to go get them. Audrey had to return a couple of books to the Marshfield library; she had meant to bring them Wednesday night to the community dinner. They went in for 5 minutes, while Errol and I stayed in the car. Errol was not happy with having to leave Diana’s house. Her place is NOT toddler-ready, and he has way too many things he can break there, so he can’t stay.
Shortly after we got back, Stephanie arrived. She really hates that big hill in Walden heading up to the Cabot border. Walden doesn’t maintain it very well, so it’s covered in snow and ice the whole way up. Very slippery and dangerous, as people don’t slow down for it and they cut the corners, so the tracks where the show is worn away, and less slippery is in the oncoming lane…
Tonight was the first Boys basketball home game, so I went up to Hardwick at 5 PM. I remembered everything I needed! I even remembered to grab some DV tape right before I loaded up, and then I remembered to make the burn-in title for the game, too. Wow, look at me! The game was interesting, the Hazen boys were ahead by double points for the first half. But after half-time, the South Royalton boys came out and in four minutes they closed the score to 4 points! They got to within 1 point of Hardwick, but the Hazen boys rallied and managed to keep ahead of South Royalton. I think the final score was 54-48.
Right now I am still at the TV station, it’s tomorrow already, Dec. 30 at 12:05 PM. I have the tower crunching the ball game, and the mini-Mac is capturing the Woodbury Select Board’s last 30 minutes. I just re-started the playback computer at midnight. Which reminds me I have to go change the playlist on the TV website and the BBS computer…
