Busy day!
What a busy day. I got an email from Norwich that their projector was still not working. I had the afternoon available and I was able to get there at 4 PM. I did all the standard field tests and after three restarts it finally did what the museum staff was seeing. I immediately took it down and boxed it up for shipping.
Then I drove to Bow’s studio and we had about 20 minutes to look at the fire organ footage from Tweed River Music Festival. His ideas on the edit are 100% the same as mine. It is a real pleasure to work with someone who is one the same wavelength. Bow has procured a little money to be able to do this video edit.
Next I had to go back down to Dartmouth for an evening rehearsal. I was late and so I called Keely to let her know. When the work shift was over and I left to go to the car, the rain was pouring down and I have to shelter. My wool porkpie hat was so saturated that it was dripping on my head. I even deployed by backpack’s built in rain cover for the first time in many years.
I was at the Fireside hotel last night, sharing a room with Marty Gil. I had some finishing work to do for Norwich and so I got about 6 hours of sleep. Marty’s alarm went off at 7 AM and then he slept for another half hour! I could have used that rest.
