Working at Dartmouth today and tomorrow.  The Step Dancing show.  I think they are doing this for the first time, there’s a four judge panel that evaluates each of the 12 step-dance acts.  It seems that most of the step-dance acts are fraternities.

Like most student productions, the don’t realize that they need to have their materials ready before the show starts.  I have on video clip of three.

They also don’t realize that professionals don’t just play video off YouTube.  We pros don’t show the webpage / setup.  I’ve seen the same thing with powerpoint, where presenters exit their presentation and we see the desktop.  The audience should never, ever see the desktop.

Well, I have to go do something, futz with the screen…
