Basketball season
I’ve been really busy recently. Basketball season at the high school has been especially frenzied. I’ve been staying up late working every other night. Usually working 4 nights a week. Right now I am broadcasting the Hardwick Select Board live on HCTV. I like to tell people that I operate a 6-channel audio mixer, 4 input video switcher, two recording tape decks, a title generator, broadcasting live and recording to the editing computer – with my right hand. And I surf the internet with my left!
I really want a break, I am tired and need a shower. But tomorrow I promised to take the kids down to dad’s house for the day.
We signed our tax docs on Tuesday, we’ll get a healthy refund. I have an installation project at Norwich U the third week of March and we have approved the LLC shares agreement. By the end of the month we might actually not be ridiculously poor, and only moderately poor… Heh.
Yesterday Comcast came and installed our internet at the office. I hooked up the Vonage and wired the three outlets in our office. So now all three ethernet and phone jacks in the office actually have internet and phone!
It was snowing today, Steph stayed home with the girls and I drove into Hardwick at 11 AM to meet with Jerome and then do the Select Board meeting.
I am really getting excited about MemoirSite. I want this to be my job.
I am not excited about Town Meeting Tuesday. It is such a bitch of a day, and the Hazen Girls basketball playdown game might get scheduled for that night!
