On to Missouri. Slowly wound my way from Girard KS to Springfield MO. Going to an outdoor store to get a half-length foam sleeping pad. Went to Bass Outdoor World! Why do they have to make shopping and entertainment event! ?!?!? I just want a foam pad! On top of all their nonsense they only had 1” thick pad. I got it cause I needed something. Camped this night at a really wild campground way down a rolling hill road, the road crowded to the edge with trees and understory. Ended up by a pond in tall trees, dark and damp, pond creatures making their noises. There was a tent and truck there but no one showed up. It felt really wild, concerned about bears. In the morning Pritzi slipped her harness. Juniper alerted on something up the road and it was Pritzi!!! She did NOT want to come back, her scardiness got her to come back toward the camper but hen she headed into the green stuff alongside the camping area where there aw a small stream, and posing ivy! I caught her but she wasn’t happy about it. I have to make no assumptions, no allowances. Didn’t sleep well, foam pad not thick enough, Juniper panting a lot in the night
