May 10, 1918 – At Sea

Friday. at sea. 69.20 Long, 40.10 Lat.  About 212 miles.Heavy fog had to almost stop and just *** our way with all those ships around us, if they were navy ships and you knew what the other fellow was going to do, we would be all O.K.

Ship rolling to beat the band, heavy sea running.  Night all lights out and ports closed. The cruiser Seattle passed through  the convoy on her way in to the States.
