    I’m actually having tea right now in the pre-dawn grey light. Lovely cool morning with the doors and windows open. Birdsong is wild out there. The sky oranging up, the sun is getting nearer the eastern horizon.

    We had a great Historical Society Meeting tonight. The room was filled. Betty Wells, long time ranch woman and Chino Valley resident, was our guest speaker. Betty Aiken Wells was born in Chino Valley in 1924. Her father came to Chino Valley in the very early 1900’s and worked for the Perkins Ranch. He eventually had his own homestead.     Slept until 11:00. Lunch. Burris’ gone when we moved to Hotel Mahgreb, Marrakech. Caleche to Medina. Ate at Hotel deFrance. Saw Arab market, story teller, dentist, etc.

    Meals on plane served well. We all slept some. Kay a little sick as we landed at Paris, Orly Airport. 5:30. Met Mr. Turner. Dinner. Left via Air France at 11:30.
